有一份期刊叫做Journal of Universal Rejection （JofUR）。这份期刊的建立宗旨，就是一个字：拒。所有投稿，不分质量，都会被拒掉。徽章拉丁文意为“被拒是肯定的，时间是不知道的”（仿拉丁谚语mors certa, hora incerta）。
虽然有这个显而易见的缺点，但是编辑们还是给出了向此期刊投稿的几个重要理由：无需为你的手稿而没日没夜地焦虑，你会百分之百地知道它最后的结局。没有版面费。既然烂期刊都是来者不拒，那么我们的期刊作为它们的极端对立面，岂不是最好的期刊？面对如此独一无二的好期刊，哪怕仅仅是投稿也是巨大的荣誉。投稿之后你依然拥有完整的版权，就算我们还没有完成评审你也可以随意投给其它期刊。决定通常（但不总是）能在数小时内给出。
本刊每年出版4期，订阅费$9999.99。机构和图书馆订阅价格面议。我们也不知道是电子版还是印刷版，因为还没有一个人定过。

虽然内容是空的，但是他们的博客会定期刊登拒信选摘。

It is sadly true that we're approaching the response-time of some other well- respected journals. (It is a funny story--I once had a paper out for review for over two years before retracting it to submit elsewhere.) It is probably all caused by the fact that I got a job. It is causing me to have so little time that, for example, with your paper, I have decided to just consider the first two words: "It is..." It is very bad form to start a paper with "It is..."
